- Organization of negotiation processes of cooperative agreements and contracts with foreign educational institutions and scientific centers
- Coordinates international activity of the institute, controls realization and implementation of international programs
- Cooperating with the corresponding department of the RA Ministry of education and science organizes annual selection and entrance of students.
- Cooperates with RF and CIS countries’ physical culture academies, institutes and sport organizations
- Develops cooperation programs with RA Ministry of Education and Science, realizes international exchanges and mutual visits of student-athletes, postgraduates, coaches and lecturers cooperating with accredited embassies and consular offices in RA.

- Realizes innovative programs and supply of licence and commercialization of scientific research results made by the institute
- Realizes measures of getting alternative funding sources of science development .
